• In lieu of the regularly scheduled January 14, 2020 Board Meeting, the Board members met at the:

• The Charter was approved by the Montgomery County Board of Education

IV. Reports and Recommendations of Committees

V. Reports and Recommendations of the School Leader

• Kia Debnam the School Leader will be responsible for every facet of the day to day operations of the school.
• The Service Provider will handle the back office work and financial aspect of LIFE Academy
• Audits will be conducted
• Independent CPA will be hired to conduct an audit once a year.

VI. New business and Action Items (* Committee Lead Needed)

• MPS Contract – The contract will be provided to MPS for signatures on February 24, 2020
• Building Purchase – Proposed at $340,000
• Building Repairs - Estimated at $2,000,000,000
• Financial Reports – Will be presented by Kia Debnam – The Executive Director and School Leader of LIFE Academy
• National Charter School Conference June 21-24, 2020 Orlando FL
• Disclosure Agreements we signed as a part of the requirements for the Charter Application
• A general draft Lawrence “Lonnie” Vowels the Architect was available for viewing.
