1. LIFE Academy will sort a spreadsheet in which students are identified by the following criteria, alphabetized by last name, first name.

• Grade
• LIFE Academy BOD, Teacher or Staff Children
• Sibling (2 or more students applied from the same household)
• Montgomery Public School

2. All applicants in the alphabetized roster will be assigned a randomly generated lottery number (from https://www.random.org/sequences)

3. For Kindergarten thru 2^nd grade, the process will be as follows:

• LIFE Academy will offer 90 seats in each grade level at the Admissions Lottery
• Once the random numbers are assigned to the alphabetized master roster, the roster will be sorted in the order below:
  • Children of BOD, Staff, and Teachers
  • Siblings
  • MPS Residents
    • Enrolling siblings (if applicable) will be moved to the row directly below their selected sibling
    • These siblings will be assigned an adjusted lottery number, reflecting their new position
    • The first 90 names per grade level on this newly sorted roster will be offered a spot for the 2021-2022 school year
